MonkeyPigDog I have recently noticed some large areas on my lawn that have started growning very light colored, almost lime green colored blades of St. Augustine grass. I have also noticed that my once thick lawn is starting to thin out and develop small gaps. I assumed this may be too much water (though I ve been using the same watering cycle for three years now) so I cut back the sprinkler cycle. I also noticed a lot of dead grass in the small gaps that are developing. I spent an entire day getting rid of the dead grass to avoid fungii/root rot from the damp, dead grass. The yard looks pretty bad now but I have faith that it will rebound. Does anybody have any other ideas about what might have caused this? Is reducing the water a good idea (at least in the short term)? Is there any kind
Foreign bodies A "foreign body" in your dog's nose means there's something in there that shouldn't be. For example, if your furry family member likes to dig in the dirt or obsessively sniffs the ground, chances are she'll wind up with some soil, grass or the occasional bug up her nose. This will cause her to sneeze to expel the foreign material. Hunting and sporting dogs who spend a lot of time outdoors running at full speed through natural settings can also wind up with odd things (e. g. , twigs or sticks) up their nose. Sneezing will ensue as the dog's body tries to expel the foreign invader. Sometimes, however, medical intervention is required. Suffice it to say, the list of weird stuff veterinarians have removed from doggy noses is a long one! Signs of the presence of a foreign object
Dogs are scavengers by nature. Itвs a trait inherent in their genes and goes back thousands of years. Some of us like to think of them as hunters and survivalists, but theyвre really not. Scavenging for food is a trait which our domesticated dogs continue to exhibit. Notice your dog getting into the garbage, sniffing out the kitchen counter, hanging out around the grill, retrieving a morsel of food he found under the couch? Well, heвs scavenging for food. That he quenches his thirst from a source other than the bowl of water you lay out for him is no surprise. There are other reasons for a dog preferring toilet water. First, understand that a dog doesnвt view the world the same way we do. His value system and perception of good and bad and right or wrong are different from ours. ...

You may plan on staying on inhaled nasal steroids for months, if needed, to keep allergies at bay and avoid sleep deprivation. If you're allergic to your pet, Berger suggests
It isnБt just in your headББhair hurtingБ is an actual thing. Of course, leave it to an old Sex and the City episode to provide the best visual. as featured on weather. com The Splendor of Autumn Every autumn we revel in the beauty of the fall colors. The mixture of red, purple, orange and yellow is the result of chemical processes that take place in the tree as the seasons change from summer to winter. During the spring and summer the leaves have served as factories where most of the foods necessary for the tree's growth are manufactured. This food-making process takes place in the leaf in numerous cells containing chlorophyll, which gives the leaf its green color. This extraordinary chemical absorbs from sunlight the energy that is used in transforming carbon dioxide and water to carbohydrates, such as sugars and starch. Along with the green pigment are yellow to orange pigments, carotenes and xanthophyll pigments which, for
